Fund raising idea.......Invictus poster

Plain & simple, call or go to the local theatre that is showing the
movie and ask the manager if they would give you the posters in the
lobby when they are done with them.

I just got 4 posters from the local theatre in Fort Lauderdale and will
be giving them to the 4 HS teams in the area.......they can use them in
raffles etc or hang them in a gym etc.

DON'T WAIT........contact your theatre ASAP and leave your name & number
before they disappear!

Hello Everyone,

Some of you know me as the coach of the Peninsula Seahawks Junior High team. Some of you may know me for generating revenue for the Pacific Coast Rugby Union. Some of you may have kicked my ass out on the pitch a few years back when I played for Mission.

For the past 3 years, I have been working on a sports documentary about 130 years of rugby in America with an award winning filmmaker.

This film is the perfect recruiting film for coaches. It celebrates the incredible amount of volunteer hours that we give to our passion. I also believe this film has the ability to bring new sponsors to the game of rugby. We are in final approval stages with all of the powers that be.

I am looking for a presenting sponsor for the film. This sponsor would want to be associated with Americana, the Olympic Games, and the World Cup. Notice I never had to say the word rugby! This film will have very broad appeal. The film was recently rated a 4.3 out of 5 among a split crowd of rugby and non rugby people. Please let me know if you have marketing connections at very large businesses!

To increase search engine optimization (google ranking), I would ask that each of you add this link to your teams/leagues websites.

Get Out To Practice

Gents,

This coming week we will be preparing for the Minnesota Collegiate Final 4. Last week a lot of folks took a couple of nights off (myself included), but this week we need all hands on deck! It's everyone's responsibility to call at least a couple of teammates to encourage them to come out to train, make sure they understand that even if they won't be able to play this weekend they can still help the club by coming out to practice.

It's been raining a lot lately so the ground is nice and soft and we're supposed to have great rugby weather all week long. I would like to add new plays for lineouts and penalties, but we can only do that if we have numbers. As far as I can tell, this is going to be your last week of rugby until the Spring so call your 'mates and show up to practice in force this week.
